Shipping Information

Shipments are processed Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed after this time will ship the next business day. We offer Ground, Second Day, and Next Day Air shipping options. Saturday delivery is not available online. For non-stock items, please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing prior to shipment. Please note that all shipments are sent via UPS and require a physical address. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

 

Return Eligibility

Authorized returns are accepted within 30 calendar days from the date the product was received by the buyer or original recipient, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

All returned items must be unused and in original condition, including all components and packaging. Items must not be disassembled, mounted, modified, or damaged due to improper installation or user error.

PowerTech Generators is not responsible for installation costs, labor charges, or any additional expenses related to the use of incorrect or defective parts.

 

Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 20 percent restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

 

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages immediately. If you receive a damaged, missing, or incorrect item, please contact us right away at 1-800-760-0027.

Items should be repackaged in the original shipping container when reporting an issue. Claims for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts must be made within 30 calendar days. After this period, PowerTech will not be responsible regardless of fault.

PowerTech is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. All such claims must be filed with the shipping carrier.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  1. Electrical parts
  2. Special order products
  3. Custom-made products
  4. Modified parts

 

Return Procedure

To initiate a return, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by completing the Online RMA Form or calling our Parts Department at 1-800 760-0027.

Once your request is submitted, you will receive your RMA number and return instructions via email. An RMA number is required for all returns.

All items must be securely packaged. PowerTech is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging during return shipping.

 

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a manufacturer's defect or an error on our part.

 

Refund Processing

Refunds are typically processed within 24 to 48 business hours after the returned item is received and inspected. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow an additional 1 to 7 business days for your financial institution to reflect the credit on your account.
